Senior Manager (Human Resources and Talent Development) – Expired

Reporting to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO), the incumbent will assume the following responsibilities:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Human Resources (HR) and Talent Development team to deliver full spectrum of HR functions, including talent attraction, acquisition and retention, employee relations and engagement, compensation and benefits, performance management, and training and development
  • Partner with senior leadership to plan manpower resources, develop workforce plans and succession plans, and provide strategic HR advice that aligns with organisational strategies
  • Lead talent acquisition initiatives to attract and retain top talent through innovative sourcing strategies, strong employer branding, and proactive candidate pipeline development
  • Formulate and implement HR strategies, policies, and frameworks that enhance organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent management
  • Review and optimise compensation and benefits schemes to ensure fairness, competitiveness and alignment with business needs
  • Ensure HR policies, systems, and practices comply with the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and all relevant statutory requirements
  • Coordinate internal and external HR audits, ensuring adherence to governance, compliance, and best practice standards
  • Design and deliver training, learning, mentoring and coaching programmes to support employee development and career progression
  • Promote a positive, inclusive and collaborative workplace culture that fosters scientific excellence, innovation and employee well-being
  • Prepare and present HR reports and updates to Committees, and the Board of Directors as required
  • Perform any other duties assigned by senior officers
