Assistant Manager (Infrastructure)

Reporting to the Manager (Infrastructure), the incumbent will assume the following responsibilities:

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Provide direction and implement Information Technology (IT) Infrastructure within allocated resources for the Hong Kong Genome Project
  • Plan, direct and coordinate Infrastructure projects to ensure the delivery meeting operational and backup requirements
  • Help monitor the integrity and security of Infrastructure projects and conduct regular checking
  • Identify potential risks and issues on IT infrastructure and deploy mitigation measures
  • Assess latest technologies and methods and apply their use for the projects

Requirements:

 

We are seeking a high-calibre candidate for the post of Assistant Manager (Infrastructure) who possesses:

 

  • Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related disciplines
  • Preferably 5 years’ related work experience in Information Technology (IT), of which at least 3 years in IT Infrastructure
  • Solid experience in system administration of inhouse on-premises and cloud environment
  • Familiar with Cloud products, resources, and resilience setup
  • Experience and understanding of enterprise platforms and solutions, including identity management (e.g. AWS IAM, Okta, WSO2), monitoring platforms (e.g. AWS Cloudwatch, Dynatrace, Nagios), backup systems (e.g. Veeam, Zerto, Rubrik) and concepts are preferred

Senior Research Assistant (Research)

 

Reporting to the Head, Genetic Counselling and Education, the incumbent will assume the following responsibilities:

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Assist in conducting multi-level implementation research to address key issues in service delivery within the Hong Kong Genome Project (HKGP)
  • Assist in data collection and cleaning, statistical data analysis, literature search and review, preparation of project proposals and presentation materials, and write-up of reports and manuscripts, especially in health outcomes, psycho-social outcomes, and health economics analyses
  • Liaise with Scientific Officers, Research Officers, and other related staff of HKGI
  • Liaise with research members of partnering centres and service providers for data acquisition

Requirements:

 

We are seeking a high-calibre candidate for the post of Senior Research Assistant (Research) who possesses:

  • A Master’s degree or above, preferably in Public Health, Health Economics, Statistics, Biostatistics, Psychology, Social Science, or related disciplines in medical or health sciences
  • Preferably with 5 years of relevant research experience, ideally in the areas of health outcomes, psycho-social outcomes, and health economics studies
  • Preferably with experience in both quantitative and qualitative research
  • Research experience in the field of genomic medicine would be an advantage
  • Experience in statistical data analysis of large and complex datasets; proficiency in statistical software (e.g. STATA, R) is highly preferred
  • Experience of writing reports and manuscripts and a proven track record in the field of health and social care science

Associate Medical Technologist - Expired
