Application Support Engineer
To provide operational support for HKGI’s expanding portfolio of systems, a new Application Support Engineer will be essential in executing, setting up, and releasing application systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and usability. The incumbent will assume the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise the performance of applications in production environments
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases to validate application functionality and quality
- Assist in configuring and setting up applications across development, testing, production environments
- Collaborate with in-house and vendor development teams to adhere to best practices in application deployment
- Coordinate application releases, conducting thorough testing to facilitate smooth deployment
- Maintain detailed documentation of application configurations and release processes

Requirements:

Senior Cloud Engineer
As HKGI advances in innovative cloud technologies, a remarkable opportunity has emerged for a Senior Cloud Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. The incumbent will assume the following responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage multi-cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, Tencent Cloud and Huawei Cloud, and others to meet business requirements
- Develop and execute cloud strategies, including migration plans and optimisation strategies for cloud resources
- Lead deployment and management of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance in production environments
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates to automate cloud deployments
- Ensure the cloud solutions comply with cloud security principles, industry regulations and organisational policies

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide front-line IT support, addressing user inquiries via calls and emails
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and IT services issues
- Support Windows desktops, Microsoft Office, business applications, and peripheral devices
- Manage user account and access control
- Maintain IT equipment, servers, and basic network connectivity
- Assist with server troubleshooting and Active Directory administration
- Track and update support requests in the service desk system
- Manage hardware and software inventories

Key responsibilities:
- Develop corporate messages and high-quality bilingual write-ups and articles to promote the work of HKGI
