{"id":16577,"date":"2026-02-04T11:30:58","date_gmt":"2026-02-04T03:30:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hkgp.org\/?post_type=job&#038;p=16577"},"modified":"2026-03-03T11:16:54","modified_gmt":"2026-03-03T03:16:54","slug":"associate-medical-technologist-16","status":"publish","type":"job","link":"https:\/\/hkgp.org\/en\/job\/associate-medical-technologist-16\/","title":{"rendered":"Associate Medical Technologist &#8211; Expired"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Reporting to the Medical Technologist, the incumbent will assume the following responsibilities<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Process and analyse clinical specimens via molecular testing methods following standard operating procedures (SOP)<\/li>\n<li>Perform patient sample handling and processing, including whole blood, buccal swab, saliva, tumour and normal tissues<\/li>\n<li>Perform DNA \/ RNA extraction from various clinical tissue samples<\/li>\n<li>Perform quality control (QC) and library preparation, and operate next \/ third generation sequencing systems, laboratory equipment and analysers<\/li>\n<li>Assist in developing new protocols and evaluating new sequencing technologies and analysers<\/li>\n<li>Perform daily and routine laboratory operations, equipment maintenance and calibration<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the implementation of quality control measures, documentation, internal audits and external quality assurance programmes to meet accreditation standards<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties assigned by senior officers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"template":"","class_list":["post-16577","job","type-job","status-publish","hentry","entry"],"acf":[],"aioseo_notices":[],"publishpress_future_action":{"enabled":false,"date":"2026-04-24 08:53:04","action":"change-status","newStatus":"draft","terms":[],"taxonomy":""},"publishpress_future_workflow_manual_trigger":{"enabledWorkflows":[]},"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/hkgp.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job\/16577","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/hkgp.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/hkgp.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/job"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/hkgp.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=16577"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
