Manager (Procurement)

Reporting to the Senior Manager (Finance), the incumbent will assume the following responsibilities:

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement function in accordance with HKGI’s procurement guidelines
  • Oversee the full procurement cycle with operational efficiency, including purchase requisitions, supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, purchase orders, and supplies management process
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement needs and prepare tenders, quotations, contracts, purchase orders and related documentation
  • Liaise with vendors to ensure compliance with procurement workflows and requirements, negotiating pricing, terms and contracts conditions as appropriate
  • Conduct evaluations of tenders and quotations, prepare recommendation reports and supporting documents for management approval
  • Manage appointed vendors, review performance evaluation of the vendors in collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Review and update HKGI’s procurement guidelines on a regular basis to ensure relevance and compliance
  • Provide coaching and on-the-job training to junior staff
  • Perform any other duties assigned by senior officers
