Reporting to the Manager (Information Security), the incumbent will assume the following responsibilities:

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues. Serve as a second-tier support, collaborate with the first-tier support to address complex issues and provide guidance
  • Design, implement, and maintain HKGI’s IT infrastructure, monitoring performance and availability of internal IT systems, proactively addressing potential issues and performing system maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with vendors for technical support, maintaining effective relationships
  • Stay updated on IT infrastructure trends and technologies, making recommendations for improvements
  • Collaborate with procurement to acquire IT assets and maintain procurement documentations
  • Develop and maintain an accurate inventory database for IT assets, with regular audits to verify physical existence and condition, manage asset lifecycle in compliance with HKGI’s policies
  • Act as the contact point for reported security activities, coordinating incident response and communication between teams
  • Conduct vulnerability scans, analyse results, prioritise and mitigate vulnerabilities and prepare comprehensive vulnerability assessment reports
  • Work on-site and outside normal working hours if necessary
  • Perform any other duties assigned by senior officer
